Introduction

Music is everywhere! We hear music at home, in school, and during celebrations. Today we will learn why music is important in our lives.

What is Music? Music is:

  • Pleasant sounds put together
  • Sounds that make us happy or sad
  • Organized sounds with rhythm and melody
  • Something we can sing, play, or listen to
