Introduction
Functional artworks are beautiful objects that we also use in our daily life. Today we will learn to draw and color them.
Content
What are Functional Artworks? Functional artworks are objects that:
- Are beautiful to look at
- Have a use in our daily life
- Can be decorated with colors and patterns
Examples of Functional Artworks:
- Cup – for drinking, can be colorful

Basket – for carrying things, woven beautifully

Pot – for cooking, decorated with patterns

Plate – for eating, painted with designs

Mat – for sitting, woven with colors

Chair – for sitting, painted nicely
How to Color Functional Artworks:
- Choose suitable colors
- Make patterns and designs
- Use bright, attractive colors
- Be creative with decorations
Activity
- Draw a cup and color it red
- Draw a basket and color it brown with yellow patterns
- Draw a pot and color it blue with white designs
- Look around for more functional artworks
