Review of Rhythmic Activities Rhythmic activities are body movements performed in a pattern with music or beat.
More Types of Rhythmic Activities
- Clapping – Using hands to create rhythm

- Stamping – Using feet to create rhythm

- Swaying – Moving body side to side
- Jumping – Both feet leaving the ground
- Running in place – Running without moving forward

Creating Rhythmic Patterns
- Combine different movements (clap-stamp-hop)
- Use music with different tempos (slow/fast)
- Work individually or in groups
- Create simple dance routines

- Create a class rhythm pattern
- Perform rhythmic activities to different music
- Group performances
- Rhythm games
