Parts of a Formal Letter:
- Sender’s Address (Your address – top right)
- Date (Below sender’s address)
- Receiver’s Address (Person you’re writing to – left side)
- Salutation (Dear Sir/Madam, Dear Mr./Mrs.)
- Subject/Title (What the letter is about)
- Body (Main message – paragraphs)
- Complimentary Close (Yours faithfully/sincerely)
- Signature (Your name)
