Afeez Adebayo

Afeez Adebayo is an edtech aficionado, bent on improving access to educational materials and learning in Nigeria. He is the founder of LessonNotes.ng, and he built other education platforms including Syllabus.ng and MockExam.ng.

The idea behind all of them is simple. Teachers and students in Nigeria lose hours, and money, chasing materials and resources that should be a tap away. Afeez built platforms that put those materials within reach, so a teacher can plan next week’s lesson in minutes and a student can practise for an exam from any phone.

What we have built

LessonNotes.ng gives teachers free lesson notes from Basic 1 to SS3, arranged by class, term and subject, in the order they teach them. Syllabus.ng provides scheme-of-work files from Nursery, Basic and Secondary classes, and the syllabus for external exams, for teachers, students and parents who want a ready-to-print copy. MockExam.ng helps students practise for their exams online, so they walk in prepared. With MockExam, you can take practice exam questions for WAEC, JAMB, NECO, BECE and other external exams.

Each platform stands on its own, and together they cover the three things a Nigerian classroom needs most: notes to teach from, materials to print, and practice to sit an exam with confidence.

Teaching and community

Afeez directs SEO Lagos, a training community of more than 1,000 members that has taken over 500 people through hands-on SEO training. He holds an Executive MBA with Distinction from the University of Lagos Business School, graduating with a 4.79 of 5 CGPA.

Away from work, he mentors teenagers, does community work and trains secondary school leavers. He cares most about helping young people build practical skills, think clearly about their careers, and find real opportunities to build a future worth having.
