All Religions Are More Alike Than Different!

Even though people worship in different ways, all religions share many beautiful things in common.

What All Religions Have in Common

1. Belief in a Higher Power 🙏

• Christians believe in God
• Muslims believe in Allah
• Traditional worshippers believe in gods and ancestors
• All believe in something greater than humans!

2. Holy Places 🏛️

• Christians → Church
• Muslims → Mosque
• Traditional → Shrine
• All have special places to worship!

3. Prayer 📿

• Christians pray to God
• Muslims pray to Allah
• Traditional believers pray to their gods
• All religions talk to their God through prayer!

4. Holy Books/Teachings 📖

• Christians → Bible
• Muslims → Quran
• Traditional → Oral teachings from elders
• All have teachings to guide them!

5. Special Days and Festivals 🎉

• Christians → Sunday, Christmas, Easter
• Muslims → Friday, Eid celebrations
• Traditional → Market days, harvest festivals
• All have special days to celebrate!

6. Good Behavior Rules 💝

All religions teach us to:

• Tell the truth
• Help the poor
• Respect parents and elders
• Be kind to others
• Not steal or fight
• Forgive those who wrong us

7. Leaders and Teachers 👥

• Christians → Pastors, Priests
• Muslims → Imams, Sheikhs
• Traditional → Chief priests, Elders
• All have wise people to guide them!

The Golden Rule

All religions teach: “Treat others the way you want to be treated!”
