LESSON CONTENT

What is Overdose?

Overdose means taking too much of something into your body.

When we take too much medicine, food, or drinks, it can hurt our body.

Examples:

• Taking too many sweets can hurt your teeth

• Taking too much medicine can make you sick

• Eating too much food can hurt your stomach

Symptoms (Signs) of Overdose:

When someone takes too much of something, these things happen:

1. Stomach Pain

• The person’s tummy hurts badly

2. Vomiting (Throwing Up)

• The person feels sick and throws up

3. Dizziness

• The person feels like spinning or falling

4. Feeling Very Weak

• The person cannot stand or walk well

5. Sleepiness

• The person wants to sleep all the time
