LESSON CONTENT
How to Help People with Overdose
When someone has overdose, here is what to do:
What Children Should DO:

Call for Help Immediately
- Shout for an adult quickly
- Tell a parent, teacher, or grown-up
- Do not leave the person alone

Stay with the Person
- Do not run away
- Talk to the person gently
- Keep them awake if possible

Give Information
- Tell adults what the person took
- Say how much they took
- Tell when it happened
What Children Should NOT Do:
- Do NOT give more food or medicine
- Do NOT try to make them vomit
- Do NOT give water unless adult says so
- Do NOT leave them alone
Remember:
Only ADULTS can give proper help. Children should get adults quickly!
