Introduction:

Let us remember all the important safety rules we have learned. These rules help keep us healthy and happy during sports and games.

Lesson Content:

Football Safety Rules – Quick Recall:

• Wear sports shoes, not sandals
• Play in safe areas away from cars
• Be kind – no pushing or kicking others
• Listen to your coach or teacher
• Drink water and rest when tired

Swimming Safety Rules – Quick Recall:

• Adult must always watch you
• Stay in shallow water when learning
• Wear arm bands or life jacket
• Walk, don’t run around pools
• Get out if you feel tired or cold

General Sports Safety – Quick Recall:

• Warm up before any game
• Use proper equipment
• Follow all rules
• Play fair and be kind
• Tell teacher if you get hurt

Revision Activities:

Activity 1: Safety Simon Says

• Teacher calls out: “Simon says show me how to kick a ball safely”
• Children demonstrate safe techniques

Activity 2: True or False Game

Teacher reads statements, children show thumbs up (true) or thumbs down (false):

• “We can push others when playing football” (FALSE)
