LESSON CONTENT

What are Rules and Regulations?

Rules and Regulations are instructions that tell us what to do and what not to do.

They help us to behave well and live peacefully with others.

Rules are simple instructions we follow every day. Regulations are official rules made by people in charge.

Examples of Rules:

At Home:

• Greet your parents in the morning
• Keep your room clean
• Do your homework before playing
• Go to bed early

At School:

• Come to school on time
• Listen to your teacher
• Do not fight with classmates
• Keep your classroom clean

In the Community:

• Do not litter the streets
• Respect your elders
• Do not make too much noise
• Help your neighbors

Importance of Rules and Regulations:

1. Keep Us Safe

• Protect us from danger
• Stop people from getting hurt
• Make our environment secure

2. Help Us Live in Peace

• Stop fighting and quarreling
• Make people respect each other
• Create a happy community

3. Make Things Fair for Everyone

• Everyone gets equal treatment
• No one cheats or bullies others
• Everyone has the same chances

4. Help Us Learn Good Behavior

• Teach us right from wrong
• Make us better citizens
• Help us grow into good adults

5. Create Order

• Everything happens in the right way
• People know what is expected
• Life becomes organized and smooth
