A. MEANING OF COOKING TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
- Cooking Tools are small hand-held items used in food preparation and cooking
- Cooking Equipment are larger items, often electrical, used for cooking and food storage
B. SIMPLE COOKING TOOLS
- Cutting and Chopping Tools
- Knife – for cutting vegetables, meat, and fruits
- Chopping board – surface for cutting food safely

- Grater – for grating vegetables like carrots and onions
- Peeler – for removing skin from fruits and vegetables

- Mixing and Stirring Tools
- Wooden spoon – for stirring food while cooking

- Whisk – for beating eggs and mixing ingredients
- Spatula – for turning food and scraping bowls

- Mixing bowl – for combining ingredients
- Measuring Tools
- Measuring cup – for measuring liquids
