A. ROLES OF FAMILY MEMBERS

1. Father/Male Parent Roles:

• Provides financial support for the family
• Protects the family from harm
• Makes important family decisions
• Disciplines children when necessary
• Provides guidance and advice
• Maintains family property

2. Mother/Female Parent Roles:

• Takes care of children’s daily needs
• Prepares meals for the family
• Keeps the home clean and organized
• Provides emotional support and comfort
• Teaches children good behavior
• Manages household expenses

3. Children’s Roles:

• Obey and respect parents
• Help with household chores
• Study hard and do well in school
• Take care of younger siblings
• Keep their belongings neat and tidy
