What is Meal Planning?

Meal planning is the process of deciding what foods to eat at different times of the day, week, or month. It involves selecting nutritious foods that will provide our bodies with the energy and nutrients needed for good health.
Why Do We Eat?
Primary Reasons for Eating:
- For Energy: Food provides fuel for our daily activities
- For Growth: Nutrients help our bodies grow and develop
- For Repair: Food helps heal wounds and replace worn-out cells
- For Protection: Certain foods boost our immune system
- For Warmth: Food helps maintain body temperature
- For Body Regulation: Nutrients help body systems work properly
The Six Classes of Food
- Carbohydrates
