What is Physical Fitness?

Being physically fit means your body is strong, healthy and can do activities without getting tired quickly.

Ways to Stay Fit

  • Exercise – running, jumping, playing

  • Eat good food – fruits, vegetables

                

  • Rest well – sleep 8-10 hours
  • Drink water – stay hydrated
  • Play sports – football, dancing

Signs You Are Fit

  • Can run without getting tired fast
  • Strong muscles
  • Feel happy and energetic
  • Sleep well at night

Exercise 3: Fitness Challenge! Do these for 30 seconds each:

  1. Jump on the spot
  2. Touch your toes
  3. Arm circles
  4. Walking in place

How do you feel? Circle: Tired / Good / Very energetic

HOME PRACTICE

  1. Do 10 jumping jacks before school each day
