Learning Objectives

- Recognize color similarities between objects
- Arrange objects based on color similarities
- Describe objects by mentioning their color
Content
Principal Colors
Primary: Red, Blue, Yellow Secondary: Green (blue + yellow), Orange (red + yellow), Purple (red + blue) Neutral: Black, White, Brown, Gray
Color Descriptions
- Red apple – round, sweet, red fruit
- Blue sky – vast, clear, blue space above
- Yellow sun – bright, hot, yellow star
- Green grass – soft, short, green plants
Grouping by Color
Red objects: apple, rose, fire truck, strawberry Blue objects: sky, ocean, blueberry, jeans Yellow objects: sun, banana, lemon, corn
Describing Objects
“The red apple is round and sweet. The blue car is fast and shiny. The yellow flower is bright and beautiful.”
Exercise
- Group 10 objects by color
- Describe 3 objects using color words
- Find objects of the same color in the classroom
