Describing Your Best Friend

Physical Description:

  • tall, short, thin, fat
  • black hair, brown hair, curly hair, straight hair
  • brown eyes, black eyes, big eyes, small eyes

Personality Traits:

  • kind, funny, smart, brave, helpful
  • friendly, honest, caring, loyal, patient

What They Like:

  • favorite games, foods, subjects, colors
  • hobbies and interests

Sample Composition

“My best friend is called Kemi. She is tall with long black hair and beautiful brown eyes. Kemi is very kind and always helps me with my homework. She is funny and makes me laugh every day. We both love playing football and eating ice cream. Kemi is honest and never tells lies. She is the best friend anyone could have.”

  • Kind – treats you nicely
  • Helpful – assists when you need support
  • Fun – enjoyable to be around
  • Trustworthy – keeps your secrets

How to Treat Friends

  • Be kind and respectful
  • Share your toys and snacks
  • Listen when they talk
  • Help them when they need it
  • Keep their secrets
  • Say sorry when you make mistakes
