Topic: Formatting
Making Your Text Look Nice
Changing Letter Styles:
- Font – the style of letters (Arial, Times, Comic Sans)
- Size – how big or small letters are (10, 12, 14, 16)
- Color – red, blue, green, purple, black
Making Text Stand Out:
- Bold – thick, dark letters (click B or press Ctrl+B)
- Italic – slanted letters (click I or press Ctrl+I)
- Underline – line under words (click U or press Ctrl+U)
- Highlight – colored background behind text
Arranging Text on Page:
- Left – text starts from left side
- Center – text goes in the middle
- Right – text starts from right side
Making Lists:
- Bullets – dots before each item • Like this • And this
- Numbers – counting order
- First item
- Second item
- Third item
Line Spacing:
- Single – normal space between lines
- Double – extra space between lines
- Makes text easier to read
How to Format Text
- Select the text you want to change
- Choose the formatting option
- Click the button or use keyboard shortcuts
- See the changes happen immediately
