Examples of Simple Machines:

1. LEVER

• Examples:
  1. Scissors (for cutting paper)

  3. See-saw in the playground
  4. Spoon (when eating soup)

2. WHEEL AND AXLE

• What it is: A round object that turns around a center
• Examples:
  1. Bicycle wheels
  2. Car wheels
  3. Door knobs
  4. Steering wheel

3. INCLINED PLANE (SLOPE)

• What it is: A slanted surface that helps move things up
• Examples:
  1. Ramp for wheelchairs

4. SCREW
