SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the week, students should be able to:
- Measure and calculate the perimeter of a square.
- Measure and compute the perimeter of a rectangle.
- Solve for the area of a square and rectangle.
- Solve real-life problems related to the area and perimeter of squares and rectangles.
- Solve quantitative reasoning problems related to areas and perimeters of squares and rectangles.

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES
PERIOD 1 and 2: Measuring and Calculating the Perimeter of a Square
