What is Drawing?

Drawing is making pictures on paper using pencils, pens, crayons, or other tools to show objects, people, or ideas.

Different Types of Drawing

1. Nature Drawing

Drawing things from the natural world

• Trees and plants
• Animals and birds

• Mountains and rivers
• Sun, moon, and clouds

2. Object Drawing (Still Life)

Drawing things that don’t move

• Fruits (apple, orange, banana)

3. People Drawing (Figure Drawing)

Drawing human beings

• Portraits (face and head only)
