Topic: Writing: Composition On ‘My Classroom’

Write 10-12 sentences about your classroom using present perfect with “since” and “for”.

Plan your composition:

  • Activities: What you have done in the classroom (3-4 sentences)
  • Conclusion: How you have felt about your classroom (2 sentences)

Use present perfect with since/for:

  • Our classroom has been clean for…

Think about:

  • How long have you been in this classroom?
  • What has changed since the beginning of term?
  • How long have you had your current desk?
  • Since when have you been friends with your classmates?
  • What has your classroom been like for learning?

Helpful phrases:

  • for three months/two terms/many weeks
  • since the beginning of term
  • for a long time
