Basic Reading Rules:

• Read from left to right →
• Sound out each letter
• Put sounds together to make words
• Start with simple words

Practice Reading These Words:

• cat – c-a-t
• pen – p-e-n
• big – b-i-g
• dog – d-o-g
• cup – c-u-p

Exercise 10: Point and read slowly: → The cat is big. → I see a dog. → The cup is hot.
