Topic: Writing: Composition About “My Father”
Write 10-12 sentences about your father using present perfect and past perfect tense.
Plan your composition:
- Introduction: Who your father is (2 sentences)
- Present Perfect: What he has done/been (4-5 sentences)
- Past Perfect: Things he had done before (2-3 sentences)
- Conclusion: How you feel about your father (2-3 sentences)
Use both tenses:
- Present Perfect: My father has worked, has taught, has been
- Past Perfect: He had studied, had worked, had learned
Think about:
- What work has your father done?
- What has he taught you?
- What had he achieved before you were born?
- How has he helped your family?
- What makes him special?
Include these ideas:
- His job and how long he has worked
- Things he had done before becoming a father
- How he has taken care of the family
- What he has taught you
- Why you love and respect him
