Applying the Writing Process to Letter Writing

Step 1: Planning Your Letter

  2. Greeting: “Dear Grandma,”
  3. Body: What you want to say
  4. Closing: “Love,” or “Your friend,”
  5. Signature: Your name

Step 3: Sample Letter Outline
