CONTINUOUS WRITING: DESCRIPTION
Write a descriptive essay on a flood disaster caused by blocked drains
NORMALIZATION OF VERBS
Nominalization is the formation of nouns from verbs and other parts of speech e.g absent (adjective, absence (noun)
Study the following words written in capital letters:
- His mother was at the point of DEATH (noun)
James mother DIED (verb)
- The elephant ADVISED (verb)
They thanked him for the good ADVICE (noun)
They thanked him for the good ADVICE (noun).
The above examples show that nouns can be formed from verbs.
