CONTENT OF THE LESSON

LESSON 1 – INTRODUCTION

MEANING OF ORGANIZATION

An organization is a group of people who live and work together as a family, a community, a corporation, or a government.

People live and work together for a particular purpose.

This purpose is achieved through cooperation.

MEANING OF COOPERATION

A cooperation is the process of living and working together to achieve common goals.

The purpose of cooperation is to help one another to their goals.

TYPES OF ORGANIZATION

1. Formal Organization
2. Informal Organization

FORMAL ORGANIZATION

Formal organization is formed to serve a common or specific purpose.

INFORMAL ORGANIZATION

Formal organization is formed to serve individual needs or the needs of a particular group.

Both types of organizations achieved their goals by cooperation.

LESSON 2 – WHY PEOPLE LIVE TOGETHER?

People live together for different reasons. Whether the formal or informal organization, people live together to:
