5. Through school, place of work, parties

PREPARATION FOR MARRIAGE

Before marriage takes place, the man, lady and parent have to do the following:

1. Seeking advice from mature people
2. Dating/courtship
3. Family investigation
4. Know about the behavior of partners
5. Engagement
6. Visit to the lady’s and man’s families
7. Submission of marriage gift
8. Payment of dowry
9. Marriage date will be fixed
