Lesson Content:

What are Rules? Rules are instructions or guidelines that tell us how to behave properly. They help people live together peacefully and safely. Rules show us what is right and what is wrong.

Why We Need Rules:

• To keep everyone safe
• To maintain peace and order
• To ensure fairness for all
• To help people live together happily
• To protect people’s rights

Important Rules in Our Community:

1. OBEDIENCE: What it means: Listening to and following instructions from parents, teachers, and leaders.

Examples:

• Doing what your parents tell you to do
• Following your teacher’s instructions in school
• Listening to community leaders
• Coming home when your parents call you

Why it’s important:

• Keeps you safe from danger
• Shows respect for authority
• Helps maintain order

2. LOYALTY: What it means: Being faithful and supportive to your family, friends, school, and community.
