How Civic Education Helps Our Country Grow:

  1. Creating Good Citizens:
  • When children learn good behavior, they grow up to be responsible adults
  • Good citizens help make Nigeria a better place
  • They follow laws and help their communities
  1. Building Strong Communities:
  • People who learn civic education work together
  • They help solve problems in their neighborhoods
  • They take care of public places like parks and schools
  1. Peaceful Society:
  • Civic education teaches people to solve problems without fighting
  • It helps people from different backgrounds live together peacefully
  • It reduces conflicts and promotes unity

Basic Government Institutions (Simple Explanation):

  1. Traditional Rulers:

  • Kings, Emirs, Obas, and Chiefs in our communities
  • They help settle disputes
  • They preserve our culture and traditions
  • They work with modern government
  1. Local Government:
  • Leaders who take care of our immediate community
