Obedience means doing what you are told, following instructions and submitting to authority. Obedience is done right away, completely, cheerfully and even when no one is watching. Its opposite is disobedience, which means refusing to obey or ignoring instructions. In this lesson, students learn why obedience matters, how Bible characters were rewarded for it, and how children can obey.
