Suratul Mulk vs 21-30 JSS3 Islamic Studies Lesson Note

Suratul Mulk is the 67th chapter of the Holy Quran. The name “Al-Mulk” means “The Kingdom” or “The Sovereignty.” This chapter reminds us of Allah’s power and control over everything. Verses 21-30 contain important lessons about being thankful to Allah, recognizing His signs, and understanding our purpose.

 Verse 21: Allah as the Provider

Allah asks a question in this verse: “Who is there that can provide for you if Allah withholds His provision?” This verse teaches us that:

– Allah is the only true provider of all things

– No one can give us food, water, air, or life if Allah decides to hold them back

– We should be thankful to Allah for everything we have

– All our needs come from Allah alone

Think about this: Everything we eat, drink, and use comes from Allah. The food on our table, the water we drink, the air we breathe – all are gifts from Allah. If Allah stopped these gifts, who else could provide them? No one.

 Verse 22: Right Guidance vs. Wrong Path

This verse compares two people:

– One who walks with his face down (not seeing where he is going)

– One who walks upright on a straight path

This teaches us:

– A person without guidance from Allah is like someone walking with their face down, stumbling and not seeing the right way

– A person who follows Allah’s guidance is like someone walking properly on a clear path

– The right path leads to success while the wrong path leads to failure

– We should choose to follow Allah’s guidance for a good life

 Verses 23-24: Allah’s Creation of Humans

These verses remind us that:

– Allah created us

– He gave us hearing, sight, and hearts (minds)

– Very few people truly thank Allah for these gifts

– Allah spread humans across the earth

– We will all return to Him on the Day of Judgment

Our ears, eyes, and hearts are amazing gifts from Allah. We should use them to:

– Listen to good words and teachings

– See Allah’s beautiful creation and signs

– Think and understand Allah’s message

Verses 25-26: The Day of Judgment

These verses talk about the Day of Judgment:

– Disbelievers ask when this day will come

– Allah alone knows when it will happen

– The Prophet Muhammad is only a clear warner

– We should prepare for this day by doing good deeds

We do not know when the Day of Judgment will come. But we should always be ready for it by being good Muslims and doing what Allah asks us to do.

Verses 27-28: The State of Disbelievers

These verses describe what will happen to disbelievers:

– When they see the punishment coming close, their faces will show sadness

– They will be told: “This is what you were asking for”

– Allah will protect the believers

– The disbelievers will realize there is no escape from Allah’s judgment

The lesson here is that we should believe now, before it is too late. On that day, there will be no second chance.

Verses 29-30: Allah’s Mercy and Power

The final verses in this section teach us:

– Allah is the Most Merciful

– Believers put their trust in Him alone

– Allah asks: If all your water went deep into the earth, who could bring it back?

– Only Allah has the power to provide water and other necessities

Water is essential for all life. Without it, nothing could live. Allah reminds us that He alone controls the water we drink. This shows His great power and why we need Him.

From these verses, we learn:

1. We must be thankful to Allah for all His blessings
2. We should use our hearing, sight, and minds to understand Allah’s message
3. We must follow the straight path of Islam
4. We should prepare for the Day of Judgment
