What is a Conclusion Paragraph?

A conclusion paragraph comes at the end of your writing. It wraps up your ideas and leaves the reader with something to remember.

Good Conclusion Techniques:

  1. Restate your main idea in different words
  2. Summarise key points briefly
  3. End with a final thought or question
  4. Use conclusion words: Finally, In conclusion, To sum up

Sample Conclusion Paragraph:

Topic: Why Reading is Important

“In conclusion, reading opens many doors for students. It improves our vocabulary, takes us to amazing places, and teaches us valuable lessons. Every time we read a book, we become smarter and more imaginative. So pick up a book today and discover the wonderful world of reading!”
