Topic: Structure: Articles “a” and “an”

Rule:

Use “a” before words that start with consonant sounds
Use “an” before words that start with vowel sounds (a, e, i, o, u)

Examples:

This is a dog

This is an orange

This is a book

This is an egg

Exercise: Fill in “a” or “an”:
