Introduction

Hello children! Today we will learn about Jesus and how He loved to pray. Just like we talk to our parents when we need something or want to say thank you, Jesus talked to His Father in Heaven through prayer.

Who was Jesus?

  • Jesus is the Son of God
  • He lived on earth like us
  • He was a man who prayed to God the Father

Jesus as a Man of Prayer

  • Jesus prayed every day
  • He prayed in the morning and at night
  • He prayed when He was happy and when He was sad
  • He prayed before making important decisions

Why Did Jesus Pray?

  1. To talk to His Father in Heaven
  2. To ask for help and strength
  3. To say thank you to God
  4. To pray for other people
  5. To show us how to pray

When Should We Pray?

  • When we wake up in the morning
  • Before we eat our food
  • When we are scared or worried
  • When we are happy and want to thank God
  • Before we go to sleep at night
  • When we need help with something
