What is Marriage?

Marriage is when two adults who love each other decide to become a family. They make promises to take care of each other forever!
Getting Married 💑
Before Marriage
- Two people meet and become friends
- They fall in love
- They decide they want to be together always
- The man asks the woman to marry him (proposal)
The Wedding Day 👰🤵

- A special ceremony where they get married
- Family and friends come to celebrate
- They exchange rings
- They promise to love and care for each other
- Everyone is happy and celebrates!
After Marriage
- The man becomes a husband
- The woman becomes a wife
- They live together in their home
- They share everything
- They may have children and become parents
Types of Marriage Ceremonies
- Church Wedding: In a church with prayers

- Traditional Wedding: Following cultural customs

- Court Wedding: At the marriage registry

- Some families do all three!
