Wakoki na Yara (Children’s Songs)

Waƙa na Farko: “Tsuntsu Mai Kyau”

Tsuntsu mai kyau yana rawa
A kan bishiya ya zauna
Yana rera waƙa mai daɗi
Mu ji shi mu yi murna

Translation: Beautiful bird is dancing, sitting on a tree, singing sweet songs, let’s listen and be happy

Waƙa na Biyu: “Yara Masu Wasa”

Yara, yara, mu yi wasa
Gudu, gudu, mu yi gudu
Rawa, rawa, mu yi rawa
Mu yi farin ciki!

Translation: Children, children, let’s play, run, run, let’s run, dance, dance, let’s dance, let’s be happy!

Waƙa na Uku: “Goma Yatsu”

Goma yatsu na da su
Ɗaya, biyu, uku, huɗu
Biyar, shida, bakwai, takwas
Tara, goma – Na lissafa!

Translation: I have ten fingers, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten – I counted!
