What is Simple First Aid Treatment?

Simple first aid treatment means helping someone who is hurt in easy ways before getting help from adults or doctors.

Simple First Aid Treatments We Can Do

1. For Small Cuts

• Wash your hands first
• Clean the cut with clean water
• Press gently with clean cloth to stop bleeding
• Put a plaster or bandage on it
• Tell an adult immediately

2. For Nosebleed

• Make the person sit up straight
• Tilt their head slightly forward
• Pinch the soft part of nose gently
• Hold for 5 minutes
• Call for adult help

3. For Minor Burns

• Put the burned part under cold running water
• Keep it there for 10 minutes
• Do not put ice or oil on it
• Cover with clean cloth
• Get adult help quickly

4. For Someone Who Faints

• Help them lie down flat
• Lift their legs up a little
• Give them fresh air
• Do not give them water while lying down
• Call for help immediately

5. For Bee Stings

• Remove the stinger carefully
• Wash the area with soap and water
• Put ice wrapped in cloth on it
• Watch for swelling
• Tell an adult right away
