  • Name the two types of family
  • Tell what makes a nuclear family
  • List members of a nuclear family

LESSON CONTENT

Types of Family

There are TWO types of family:

  1. Nuclear Family

  • This is a small family
  • It has Father, Mother and Children only
  1. Extended Family

  • This is a big family
  • It has Father, Mother, Children, Grandparents, Uncle, Aunty and Cousins

Structure of a Nuclear Family

A Nuclear Family has:

  • Father (Daddy)
  • Mother (Mummy)
  • Children (Sons and Daughters)

Only these three groups make a nuclear family.
