Les parties du corps humain are the parts of the human body. In French, each body part is named with an article, such as la tête (the head), le nez (the nose) and la main (the hand). This lesson lists the main body parts in French with their English meanings.

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

• name the main parts of the human body in French;
• give the English meaning of each French body part in the list;
• read and say simple French sentences about what we do with the eyes, nose, mouth and hands;
• write the French words with the correct spelling and accents.
