Topic: Süratul-Nasr (Q 110 Verse 3)

Learning Objectives

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  1. Recite the remaining verse of Sūratun-Nasr with appropriate tone (verse 3)

  3. Commit the whole Sūrah to memory

Materials Needed

  • Complete Sūratun-Nasr text
  • Audio for pronunciation practice
  • Reward stickers for memorization

Introduction

  • Islamic greeting: “Assalamu Alaikum”
  • Quick review of verses 1-2 from last week
  • Praise pupils who memorized the verses
  • Introduce the final verse to complete the Sūrah

Review Previous Verses

Let pupils recite verses 1-2 together:

  • إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ
  • وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا

Verse 3 in Arabic

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا “Fa-sabbih bi-hamdi rabbika wa-staghfirhu innahu kana tawwaba”

Meaning of Verse 3

“Then praise your Lord and ask for His forgiveness. Indeed, He is always ready to forgive.”
