Learning Objectives
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
- Narrate the history of Prophet Īsā’s miraculous birth and his mission
- Examine the lessons contained in the history of Prophet Īsā as regards his not being the son of Allah and not being crucified
- Apply these lessons to daily activities
Materials Needed
- Story book about Prophet Īsā
- Pictures showing miracles
- Simple medical kit (toy) for healing demonstration
Introduction
- Greet with “Assalamu Alaikum”
- Ask: “Who knows about a Prophet who could heal sick people?”
- Explain that today we learn about Prophet Īsā (Jesus)
- Tell pupils Muslims love and respect Prophet Īsā

The Miraculous Birth of Prophet Īsā
His Mother Maryam:
- Maryam was a very good and pure woman
- She worshipped Allah in the temple
- She was chosen by Allah for something special
- Angel Jibreel came to her with Allah’s message
The Angel’s Message:
- Angel Jibreel told Maryam she would have a baby
- This baby would be a Prophet of Allah
- The baby would be born without a father
- This was Allah’s miracle and power
The Birth:
- Maryam gave birth to Īsā under a palm tree
- Baby Īsā spoke from his cradle
- He said: “I am a servant of Allah”
- People were amazed at this miracle
Prophet Īsā’s Mission
His Special Powers from Allah:
- He could heal blind people
- He could cure sick people who couldn’t walk
- He could bring dead people back to life
- He could make clay birds come alive
- All these were miracles from Allah
His Message:
- Worship only Allah, not statues or other things
- Be kind to your parents
- Help poor and needy people
- Follow the teachings Allah sent
- Prepare for the afterlife
His Followers:
- Some people believed in Īsā’s message
- They were called disciples or helpers
- They helped him spread Allah’s word
- They loved and supported Prophet Īsā
Important Islamic Beliefs About Prophet Īsā
Īsā is NOT the Son of Allah:
- Allah does not have children
- Allah is One and does not need a family
- Īsā is Allah’s servant and Prophet
- Allah created Īsā without a father to show His power
- Muslims believe this strongly
Īsā Was NOT Crucified:
- Some people wanted to hurt Prophet Īsā
- But Allah saved him and raised him to heaven
- Someone else was made to look like Īsā
- Īsā is alive in heaven with Allah
- He will return to Earth before the Day of Judgment
Lessons from Prophet Īsā’s Life
Lesson 1: Allah’s Power
- Allah can do anything He wants
- Creating Īsā without a father shows Allah’s power
- Miracles happen only by Allah’s permission
- Nothing is impossible for Allah
Lesson 2: Respect for All Prophets
- Muslims love and respect Prophet Īsā
- We don’t worship him, but we honor him
- All Prophets brought the same message: worship only Allah
- We should respect people of other religions who follow Prophets
Lesson 3: Helping Others
- Prophet Īsā healed sick people
- We should help people who are sick or in need
- Being kind to others is part of our faith
- Use any special skills Allah gives us to help people
Lesson 4: Standing for Truth
- Īsā told people the truth even when they didn’t like it
