What Are Two Letter Words?

Two letter words are made by joining two Arabic letters together. When we join letters, they sometimes change their shape.

Common Two Letter Words

  1. بَا (ba) – “with” or “by”
  • Letters: ب + ا
  • Pronunciation: “ba”
  • Used in many Arabic sentences
  1. لا (la) – “no”
  • Letters: ل + ا
  • Pronunciation: “la”
  • Means “no” or “not”
  1. مَا (ma) – “what”
