Definition of Digital Literacy
Digital Literacy is the ability to use computers, smartphones, and the internet safely and effectively to find, create, and share information.
Components of Digital Literacy:
- Computer Skills – Using keyboards, mouse, software
- Internet Skills – Browsing, searching, emailing
- Information Skills – Finding reliable information
- Communication Skills – Online chatting, video calls
- Safety Skills – Protecting personal information
Copyright and Plagiarism
Copyright is the legal right that protects someone’s original work (like songs, books, pictures) from being copied without permission.
Plagiarism is copying someone else’s work and claiming it as your own without giving credit to the original creator.
