Properties of Light
Light has special qualities:
- Light travels in straight lines

- Light can bounce back when it hits something

- Light helps us see everything around us
- Light moves very fast
What are Plane Mirrors?
A plane mirror is a flat, smooth glass that shows your image. Examples:
- Bathroom mirror

- Car side mirrors

- Mirror in your mother’s handbag

Reflection of Light
When light hits a mirror, it bounces back to our eyes. This is called reflection. The image we see in the mirror looks exactly like us but appears to be behind the mirror.
