THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES US STRENGTH
In Luke 24:47 where Jesus told his disciples that they will also have my Father. 24 47 had to leave among them his work is no one else did, they wouldn’t be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have both him and my Father. 25 But if no one among you brings up what I said, you’ll not have sin to answer for.”
So “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. 27 And you also must testify for you have been with me.”
This passage is talking about the role of the Holy Spirit in strengthening and supporting Jesus disciples. The Advocate mentioned here refers to the Holy Spirit, who will come to the disciples after Jesus has returned to the Father. The Holy Spirit will help them to remember and understand the teachings of Jesus, and will give them the courage and strength to spread the gospel message to others, even in the face of opposition.
It is a time that the Holy Spirit does the strengthening and empowering the disciples to fulfill their mission as witnesses to Jesus and his teachings.
