  • Review the six Articles of Faith in Islam. Belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His prophets, the Day of Judgment (Yawmul-Qiyamah), and predestination.
  • Explain that death in Islam is like a long sleep, and just like we wake up after sleep, we will be resurrected after death.

2. Resurrection:

  • Discuss how Allah will resurrect all humans on the Day of Judgment. Just as we plant a seed and it grows into a tree plant, so when we die we will be raised again after death.
  • Mention that resurrection is one of the core beliefs in Islam and is directly connected to our belief in Yawmul-Qiyamah.

3. Judgment Day:

  • Explain that after resurrection, everyone will stand before Allah to be judged for their deeds
  • Discuss how good deeds and bad deeds will be weighed, and how this judgment will determine our final abode in either paradise or hell.
