Relationship Between Agriculture and Marketing:

Agriculture and marketing work together like partners:

  • Agriculture produces the food
  • Marketing gets the food to people who need it
  • Without marketing, good crops would go to waste
  • Without agriculture, there would be nothing to market

Various Marketing Activities:

  1. Grading and Sorting
  • Separating crops by size, quality, and color
  • Putting similar products together
  • Example: Sorting tomatoes into small, medium, and large
  1. Cleaning and Washing
  • Removing dirt and dust from crops
  • Making products look attractive
  • Example: Washing carrots before selling
