Awori People Location:

  • Lagos Island (where Lagos started)
  • Lagos Mainland
  • Mushin area
  • Ikeja area
  • Agege area
  • Alimosho area

Egun People Location:

  • Badagry area (mostly)
  • Some coastal areas
  • Areas close to the sea and lagoons

Ijebu People Location:

  • Ikorodu area
  • Eastern parts of Lagos State
  • Areas towards Ogun State border

Important Places to Remember

  • Lagos Island – Where the Awori first settled
  • Badagry – Main home of Egun people
  • Ikorodu – Main home of Ijebu people in Lagos State
