Lesson Content:
About Suratul-Mulk:
- Chapter 67 of the Holy Quran
- Name means “The Kingdom” or “The Sovereignty”
- Contains 30 verses
- Revealed in Makkah (Makki Surah)
- Known as the “Protector Surah”
Arabic Text and Translation (Verses 1-10):
Verse 1: تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Translation: “Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things.”
Verse 2: الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفُورُ
Translation: “Who created death and life that He may test you, which of you is best in deeds. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.”
