What We Will Learn Today

  • Who are the angels of Allah

  • What special jobs Allah gave to each angel

 

What Are Angels?

Angels are special beings that Allah created. They:

  • Are made of light
  • Always obey Allah
  • Cannot be seen by people
  • Do whatever Allah tells them to do
  • Never get tired or sleep

 

Important Angels and Their Jobs

  1. Angel Jibrīl (Gabriel)

  • Job: Brings messages from Allah to the Prophets
  • Special work: Brought the Qur’an to Prophet Muhammad
  1. Angel Mīkāil (Michael)

  • Job: Controls the weather and rain
  • Special work: Makes sure plants and animals get water
  1. Angel Riḍwān

  • Job: Guardian of Paradise (Jannah)
  • Special work: Takes care of Heaven’s gates
  1. Angel Atīd

  • Job: Records our good deeds
  • Special work: Writes down all the good things we do
  1. Angel Asarāil

  • Job: Records our bad deeds
  • Special work: Writes down the wrong things we do
  1. Angel Munkar

  • Job: Questions people in their graves
  • Special work: Asks about faith after death
  1. Angel Nakīr

  • Job: Questions people in their graves with Munkar
  • Special work: Tests people’s belief after they die
  1. Angel Isrāfīl

  • Job: Will blow the trumpet on Judgment Day
  • Special work: Will announce the end of the world
  1. Angel Mālik

  • Job: Guardian of Hell (Jahannam)
  • Special work: Takes care of punishment in Hell

 

Why We Should Believe in Angels

  • Allah created them to help with important work
  • They are mentioned in the Qur’an
  • Believing in angels is part of our faith
  • They help us understand Allah’s power
  • Some angels protect and help us

 

What We Learned

  • Angels are made of light and always obey Allah
  • Each angel has a special job given by Allah
  • Some angels bring messages, control weather, guard Paradise and Hell
  • Two angels record our good and bad deeds
  • Believing in angels is part of being a Muslim
